Most AI-native products replace one category of SaaS. OpenLazarus is designed to replace several at once: it builds one platform per company, and presents each of its modules as replacing a subscription1.
Best for: Companies that want to replace a stack of subscriptions (chat, mail, phones, CRM, project tools, invoicing) with one AI system they own.
Not the right fit for: Companies that only want to swap one tool for a cheaper one, or that need a specialist system such as a regulated ledger.
What it replaces
The home page lists the modules: messages, mail, video meetings, transcripts, scheduling, phone lines, CRM, shipments, fleet, exceptions, invoicing and bookkeeping1. The FAQ describes the result as the tools a module replaces, such as chat, mail, phones, CRM and project tools, moving into one system the company owns2. The builder shows, for each design, which tools it replaces and which plan it needs, priced in the buyer's currency3.
Inside the platform, AI teammates do work that staff would otherwise do in separate tools, within limits the company sets; the company decides what runs automatically and what needs approval2.
How the economics differ from SaaS
The plan is priced per company rather than per seat: Starter at $100 a month or Pro at $300 a month, each including the same amount in AI credits, plus managed hosting from $150 a month and optional engineering support from $4,500 a month24. The code and data belong to the customer, and hosting can be moved to the customer's own cloud24.
OpenLazarus's AI-Architects page says its architects cut paid SaaS seats from most employees to a few5, and its ROI calculator estimates the saving from cancelled software, insourced work and freed time6. Both are the vendor's claims and models.
Published evidence
- Quick Scan & Go (company-published testimonial). The CEO of an 80-store retailer, quoted on the OpenLazarus AI-Architects page, says its data systems were consolidated into one with AI agents handling operations, and credits the change with 76% profit growth. This is the client’s own figure, shown on the OpenLazarus site.5
The company also publishes its own comparison of AI operating systems, in which it ranks itself first7.
Strengths and limits
Strengths
- Addresses the whole stack rather than one category, and shows in its builder which tools a design replaces.
- Plans are priced per company ($100 or $300 a month) with hosting from $150, not per user.
- The company owns the code and data and can move hosting to its own cloud.
- AI teammates do the work on the records, within limits the company sets.
Limits
- Replacing several tools at once is a larger change than swapping one.
- Evidence is limited to testimonials on its own site; its savings estimates come from its own calculator.
- Engineering support starts at $4,500 a month for ongoing changes.
Choose another option if: Only one category is the problem. A specialist such as Intercom Fin for support or Attio for CRM is the smaller step.
Pricing
Published: Starter $100 and Pro $300 a month (each including the same amount in AI credits), hosting from $150 a month, engineering support from $4,500 a month.
Questions to ask OpenLazarus
- Which of our current subscriptions would the first design replace, and in what order?
- What does moving data out of each of those tools involve?
- What would engineering support cost for the changes we expect in the first year?
- If we leave, in what form do we receive the code and data?
